Artist's Statement
I’m an avid outdoor person who loves to be in nature. I love exploring new and unusual places. I’m drawn to vivid colors, patterns, textures, and the drama that Mother Nature can stir up. Trying to capture that special moment in the brief time before it’s gone, that makes photography my passion — whether it’s a nature scene, macro images, industrial shots, or creating abstracts from common images. That is what drives me.
Sharing moments in time for others to enjoy — that’s photography.

Artist's Bio
Brian was born in Phoenix Arizona. His family was self-employed so they were able to travel to many destinations in the states, with much of that time being spent in nature. Brian acquired a great respect for nature and how beautiful it is. Having seen many inspiring landscapes, Brian would try to draw the scenes before they changed. This was the driving force that pushed Brian forward in art.
Having worked with many different mediums throughout his life, Brian was never quite satisfied with how they conveyed what he was seeing. Then one day he was given a camera as a birthday gift. That was it, that was the turning point. He was finally able to capture a moment in time, such as storms rolling over the mountains, freezing an emotion, or catching a bird in flight.
These are just some of the things that inspire Brian to get behind the lens.
Brian’s work has been exhibited in the Bountiful-Davis Art Center, Millcreek City Hall, Holladay City Hall, Red Butte Gardens, and the Springville Museum of Art. His work has also been included in several art festivals. Brian is a member of the Wasatch Camera Club.

This beautiful facility was designed to complement the Rose Park neighborhood with sensitivity to its site on the Jordan River Parkway. An open space plan, with a large community meeting room and outside deck area, will accommodate this growing community for many years.
The south property of the Day-Riverside Branch is home to TreeUtah's EcoGarden, a "food forest" where all members of the community can learn about urban farming and organic gardening. The Day-Riverside Branch has a meeting room available for public use that features tables, chairs, a projector screen, and a piano.
Free parking is available to the west of the building, and free wi-fi access is provided throughout the library.
