Students taking the ACT test in 2024–25 can get ready in these collaborative study sessions led by University students from the Bennion Center. Study sessions happen most Saturdays, 10am–Noon.

ACT Study Sessions

  • Thursdays, Sep 12–Nov 14, 4–6pm at the Marmalade Branch
  • Saturdays, Sep 14–Nov 9, 10am–Noon at the Day-Riverside Branch
    • No sessions on October 5 or 12 for Fall Break

This is not a classroom setting. It is a collaborative, lively study session. You can come and go at any time during the session. Practice tests and strategies will be provided during the event. After students attend at least two sessions they are eligible to receive a free ACT Book. 

Registration is encouraged, but not required.

About the branch

This beautiful facility was designed to complement the Rose Park neighborhood with sensitivity to its site on the Jordan River Parkway. An open space plan, with a large community meeting room and outside deck area, will accommodate this growing community for many years.

The south property of the Day-Riverside Branch is home to TreeUtah's EcoGarden, a "food forest" where all members of the community can learn about urban farming and organic gardening. The Day-Riverside Branch has a meeting room available for public use that features tables, chairs, a projector screen, and a piano.

Free parking is available to the west of the building, and free wi-fi access is provided throughout the library.
