Get out and explore on a bike this summer! In this two-day workshop, tweens ages 9–12 can learn bicycle safety for road riding. Permission slips are required. Don't forget sunscreen!
If your child does not have their own bike or helmet, the Bicycle Collective will provide a temporary bike and helmet they can use during the workshop. To sign up, fill out the Permission Form below and return it to the Day-Riverside Branch by July 29 (child must plan on attending both days of the workshop).
This permission slip is required for all attendees, which can be done in-person at Day-Riverside.
Participants who attend both days and do not already own a bike will earn a free bike and helmet from the Bicycle Collective. Please fill out required form and return to the Day-Riverside Branch. Signup for a free bike ends on July 29.

This beautiful facility was designed to complement the Rose Park neighborhood with sensitivity to its site on the Jordan River Parkway. An open space plan, with a large community meeting room and outside deck area, will accommodate this growing community for many years.
The south property of the Day-Riverside Branch is home to TreeUtah's EcoGarden, a "food forest" where all members of the community can learn about urban farming and organic gardening. The Day-Riverside Branch has a meeting room available for public use that features tables, chairs, a projector screen, and a piano.
Free parking is available to the west of the building, and free wi-fi access is provided throughout the library.
