Artist's Statement
I’m a digital artist inspired by the world of Dungeons & Dragons. The game offers endless possibilities for character design—through its variety of species and their shapes, and colors—and I love exploring the creativity that comes from interpreting the diversity of people through fantasy characters. Playing with different combinations of classes and species lets me reflect on individuality and identity in a playful, visual way.
My process always begins on paper, where I explore ideas through sketching in colored pencils and experimenting with poses and costume design. After scanning each sketch into Photoshop, the real magic happens. I bring each character to life through expressive lines, vibrant color, and thoughtful design. Every choice I make—from silhouette to palette—helps shape the story of who this character might be.
Creating characters inspired by D&D gives me a wide canvas for storytelling, design experimentation, and celebrating the joy of imagination.
Artist's Bio
Alaina has been passionate about art since sixth grade, when she first began taking her creativity seriously. Over the years, she developed a distinctive style inspired by cartoons, anime, and comic books. Art quickly became her favorite subject in school, and she was always sketching in the margins of notebooks or on the backs of homework assignments.
Around the same time, Alaina was introduced to Dungeons & Dragons, sparking a lifelong love for character creation and storytelling. This passion eventually led her to pursue a degree in animation with a minor in drawing. Through her studies, she discovered her favorite way to express herself—through illustrative art and small themed series.
Now a college graduate, Alaina enjoys creating a little something every day to share on Instagram and other social media platforms. Whether she’s designing new characters for her D&D group of friends and in-laws or working on personal projects, she continues to find joy in bringing imaginative worlds to life.

The pleasing design of the Anderson-Foothill Branch has two unique elements as part of its plan. The first is a passive solar energy design that includes earth berming, window placement for solar heating, and zone supplemental heating/cooling. The second element of this 14,900 square foot community library built in 1985, expanded in 1992 and in 2002, is a modular design.
The Anderson-Foothill Branch has a meeting room available for public use with tables, chairs, and a projector screen. The Anderson-Foothill Branch's outdoor amphitheater is a popular location for summer concerts. Free parking is available to the north and south of the building, and free wi-fi access is provided throughout the library.
