Zines and Hoboes are both meant to travel. In this virtual session, The Historic Graffiti Society will present a brief and fascinating history of the American Hobo through print and photographs.

The Historic Graffiti Society presents a brief history of the American Hobo. The word "Hobo" describes traveling workers from the late-1800s through the Great Depression. This virtual presentation will dive into the history of Hobo culture, including Hobo monikers, the secret language of Hobo signs, Hobo women, and more!
