About the Artists
Nick Passey & Aria Darling
Nick Passey & Aria Darling is an Indie Americana duo from Salt Lake City, UT. The pair harmonize vocals while Passey plays guitar and Darling plays mandolin. In 2022, they released a live video of their single, “Don’t Know How I’m Feeling.” This performance showcases this pair’s dynamic and how they complement each other, providing the poignant undertones that the lyrics suggest. Their live set also lends itself to this soul-stirring mood, creating an atmosphere that keeps the audience transfixed, engaged, and in awe.
Alicia Stockman
Alicia Stockman is a Utah-based folk-meets-Americana singer-songwriter whose music pulls back the veil to reveal everyday vulnerability. Her songs are written like intimate moments, drawing listeners into a relatable emotional journey, guided along by her whisky-dipped soulful vocals. Influenced by the vivid storytelling of powerhouse songwriters like Patty Griffin, Indigo Girls, and Jewel, she finds her home in the folk and Americana scene.
Joey Brandin
Musician. Artist. Activist. Barista. SLC origins. Currently Provo Based. Punk Rock Heart. Melancholy Sound. Cafe vibes.
Katie Ainge
Katie Ainge plays a mellow acoustic vibe of originals and covers that extends from the 70's to now. She leans toward a folk sound with a twist of soulful pop. Her live style is one of connecting with the audience whether it be about the songs she writes or a song on the radio. Katie has traveled the country performing her original music. You can also find her songs "Fond of You" and "Crimes" used in television shows.
Darling & Debonair
Thom Darling and Claire Debonair have been singing their hearts out together for over 15 years. Growing up in Salt Lake City, Utah — before glamping and iPhones — the two shared a deep passion for Soul and R&B from the 50s on which is reflected in their songwriting and delivery. With the intimacy of a singer-songwriter, and the gumption of a brass band, Darling & Debonair stun crowds with their heartfelt songs and bold performances. D&D, raw folk and soul since 2008.
The Glitter Bombs
The name of the band is The Glitter Bombs! Vibrant, enthusiastic, energetic, positive and super freak’n fun! These are the best words to use when describing The Glitter Bombs! Having a sound all of their own defies genre, but if they had to pick one they would say Power Pop. Reaching out to the Intermountain West, The Glitter Bombs are based in Utah. A classic four piece with guitar, bass, drums and vocals. (Sounds Like: Wet Leg, Sheryl Crow, The Beths, Blondie, Joan Jett).
The pleasing design of the Anderson-Foothill Branch has two unique elements as part of its plan. The first is a passive solar energy design that includes earth berming, window placement for solar heating, and zone supplemental heating/cooling. The second element of this 14,900 square foot community library built in 1985, expanded in 1992 and in 2002, is a modular design.
The Anderson-Foothill Branch has a meeting room available for public use with tables, chairs, and a projector screen. The Anderson-Foothill Branch's outdoor amphitheater is a popular location for summer concerts. Free parking is available to the north and south of the building, and free wi-fi access is provided throughout the library.
